A Swedish style three bedroom log cabin holiday rental tucked away in rural North Devon, within easy reach of sandy beaches and many attractions suitable for all ages and perfect for holidays in north devon. One king size double with ensuite shower room and two twins (beds can be pushed together if required). Bathroom with full size bath and shower. Sleeps up to six plus baby, although also very popular with couples wanting to get away for a holiday exploring the local area. Travel cot and high chair provided. Open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Fully fitted kitchen with oven and hob, fridge and freezer, microwave and dishwasher. TV, DVD and Broadband. Please remember that this is rural Devon, so the broadband is the best available, but may be slower than guests from other areas are used to. Outside there are extensive grounds available to guests, a carp fishing lake (two passes available throughout your stay), and a private South facing decking area. Two private car parking spaces adjoin the lodge.
Amenities
Woolsery (also called Woolfardisworthy) is 5 minutes by car, and has a village shop, pub and fish and chip shop. Kilkhampton has a post office, Spar, Co-Op and several takeaways.
Grocery Deliveries
Tesco and Sainsbury's will deliver internet orders to the lodges . The address for delivery is : Hartland Forest Golf Club EX39 5RA followed by the lodge number . Sainsbury's Internet Orders Tesco Internet Orders The Tesco option comes recommended and has been found to be excellent when timed to a couple of hours after arrival at Hartland Forest..
At Atlantic Village (Affinity) out of town shopping centre, EX39 3DU on the Atlantic Highway (25 mins, but on the route to/from Bideford) there is an excellent large Asda, Lidl and Aldi, as well as various outlet shops, Brewers Fayre, Dominos Pizza, McDonalds and Starbucks.

We found everything we needed at this cosy and really well equiped lodge, and despite being unlucky with the weather for a couple of days, (well it was October) we managed to do so much in the week.. Highlights were the Coffee Cabin in Appledore and walking from Sandymouth to Bude at low tide. Would recommend! Zoe J
We honestly felt so relaxed we didn't want to leave! We had breakfast on the deck every day and were joined by a songthrush singing his heart out above us. So many beautiful birds. We saw a golden pheasant which came right up to the patio doors, woodpeckers and even a barn owl. We walked for miles with our dog, and had amazing cream teas at the farm shop around the corner. Watching the sun go down at The Pierhouse in Westward Ho! was really memorable. This was our third visit and we will be back! Phil A-J (visited at May half term)
As soon as we arrived at Sandy Paws we felt at home. We couldn't wait to explore, and we loved all the dog friendly beaches and places to eat. Highlights were Sunday lunch at the garden centre round the corner (Merry Harriers) , Westward Ho beach which was amazing, and Saunton Sands. We never actually got to see Clovelly, but we'll be back.
